An old proverb says "Half-truth is a whole lie".

Benjamin Franklin also quoted, "Half-truth is often a great lie".

The Cambridge Dictionary defines half-truth as "a statement that is intended to deceive someone by telling only part of the truth".

Half-truth is not truth, half-truth is more dangerous than a lie.
